On December 26, 2016, patrol officers responded to the AC Convenience Store for a report of a an armed robbery.  We are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect.

At 4:31 pm, officers responded to the store in the 4000 block of Ventnor Avenue.  A Hispanic male suspect entered the store wearing a mask, removed what the clerk believed to be a handgun from a bag, and demanded the money from the cash register.

The clerk grabbed the gun from the suspect and realized it was a BB gun.  The suspect removed his mask and tried to pretend that he was playing a joke on the clerk.  The suspect then fled the store.

We are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect.  We believe he may work or reside in the area and his name may be Ed or Eddie.
