The Academy was held on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm for 8 weeks and covered various law enforcement topics such as crime prevention, K-9, patrol operations, use of force, defensive tactics, traffic stops, investigations, crime scene processing, and firearms.  Police Department employees and justice personnel provided a combination of classroom instruction and practical exercises to help citizens increase their knowledge and awareness.  The goal of the Academy is to provide citizens of Beavercreek an opportunity to understand the Police Department's purpose, methods, and guidelines that allow the department to best serve the community.

The Beavercreek Police Department would like to sincerely thank all the graduates for their dedication and involvement in the program, as well as their support to the city and the police department.
