On December 26, 2018, Robert Nicholson IV, a 28-year-old Black male from Mays Landing NJ, was located deceased on the property of 3001 East Chestnut Avenue. Nicholson was located near a retention pond by a landscaper. He was pronounced deceased at 4:10 PM. There were no signs of trauma and the investigation is pending the results of the final autopsy. Notification was made to the next of kin.  The lead investigator is Det. Chris Fixler. Nicholson was also reported missing on December 10, 2018, from 1200 Southwest Boulevard (REM NJ), after he ran away from the facility. He was entered into NCIC as missing. When located on December 26, his clothes matched what he was last observed wearing the day he went missing.
