FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH

On September 7, 2019, at approximately 7:24am, members of the Vineland Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit were dispatched to the area of N. West Avenue just south of West Garden Road in regards to a fatal crash involving one vehicle.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 1998 Jeep Cherokee operated by Brandon J. Girton-Mastrosimone, age 36 of the 500 block of W. Sherman Avenue, Millville NJ, was traveling northbound on a closed portion of N. West Avenue when his vehicle drove through multiple plastic road barricades and then struck a concrete jersey barrier which resulted in the vehicle being overturned. He was located deceased at the scene.
