Pedestrian Injured in Motor Vehicle Crash
For Immediate Release: October 27, 2019
On October 26, 2019 at 8:00 pm, patrol officers responded to Bellevue and
Pacific Avenues for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a
pedestrian. Arriving officers located the pedestrian, a 60-year-old man
from Atlantic City, in the roadway. He was transported to the, AtlantiCare
Regional Medical Center, City Division, with non-life threatening
injuries. The vehicle, a taxicab driven by a 45-year-old man from
Atlantic City, left the roadway after striking the pedestrian. The cab
collided with a fire hydrant, utility pole, and building at Florida and Pacific
Avenues.
The surrounding roadway was closed for approximately two hours. There are
no charges at this time pending a continuing investigation by Officer Tyler
Daily.
