Three Arrested, Two Handguns Recovered in Separate Incidents

On December 4, 2019, officers arrested three males and
recovered two handguns in separate incidents.
At 2:08 pm, Officers Valmir Loga and Jeffrey Hannon saw
Tyrone Ford walking on Atlantic Avenue entering the Atlantic City Bus Terminal. The officers were aware that Ford had active
warrants for his arrest. They located
Ford before he entered a bus and took him into custody. Ford had a satchel underneath his jacket that
contained a loaded handgun.
At 4:00 pm, Special Investigations Section Detectives Darrin
Lorady and Alberto Valles were conducting surveillance in the area of Stanley Holmes
Village. They observed two individuals walking
on Bay Avenue, which is a small alleyway.
One of the individuals was wearing a ski mask covering a portion of their
face. The detectives attempted to speak
with the individuals when the both split up and fled. The detectives apprehended a 17-year-old male
in the 300 block of north Ocean Avenue.
The male was found in possession of a loaded handgun.
The detectives began to check the area for the second
individual when they located him at Pennsylvania Avenue and Absecon
Boulevard. The male, Oscar Euceda, again
fled from the detectives. He was
apprehended after entering a local convenience store in an attempt to
hide. Euceda was found in possession of
a small quantity of marijuana.
ARRESTED: Tyrone Ford,
an 18-year-old man from Mays Landing, NJ.
CHARGES: Unlawful
possession of a weapon and contempt of court.
Ford was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
ARRESTED: A
17-year-old male from Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Unlawful possession
of a weapon, obstruction of justice, and resisting arrest.
The male was remanded to the Harborfields Juvenile Detention
Center.
ARRESTED: Oscar
Euceda, an 18-year old man from Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of
a controlled dangerous substance, obstruction of justice, and resisting arrest.
Euceda was released on a summons with a future court date.
