Shooting Investigation Update- Woman Wanted for Attempted Murder

For Immediate Release:  February 12, 2020

 

The Atlantic City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a woman charged with attempted murder. 

An investigation by detectives of the Violent Crimes Unit has led to criminal charges being filed against Myasia Adubato.  Adubato, a 21-year-old woman, is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 250 pounds.  She will also use the name “Mike”.    

Adubato is charged in a shooting that wounded a man on February 8, 2020.  At 7:17 pm, patrol officers responded to Virginia and Baltic Avenues for a report of a man shot.  Officers located the victim, 65-years-old from Atlantic City, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, with a non-life threatening injury.
