Five Handguns and Drugs Recovered During Operation on Atlantic Avenue

On March 5, 2020, officers assigned to the Special Investigations
Section and Operations Division conducted a street operation in the business
district along Atlantic Avenue.
Complaints have been received from citizens and merchants regarding the
distribution and possession of narcotics.
The operation resulted in the recovery of five handguns, three of which
had previously been reported stolen, and assorted ammunition. One hundred bags of heroin, 313 grams of
marijuana, and scales, baggies and containers used to distribute narcotics were
recovered. Six men were arrested and a wanted
warrant has been issued for the arrest of Diatre Jackson.
WANTED: Diatre
Jackson, a 24-year-old man from Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Three counts
of certain person not to possess a weapon, and single counts of receiving
stolen property, possession of CDS paraphernalia, and possession of
hollow-point ammunition.
The below men were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice
Facility.
ARRESTED: Nehemiah
Letson, a 27-year-old man from Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Two counts
of certain person not to possess a weapon and receiving stolen property, a
single count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession
with intent to distribute CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS within
500 feet of a public zone, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
ARRESTED: Jeffrey
Armstrong, a 30-year-old man from Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession
of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession with intent to distribute
CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS within 500 feet of a Public Zone,
and contempt of court.
The below men were released on a summons with a future court
date.
ARRESTED: David Woodward,
a 23-year-old man from Pleasantville, NJ.
CHARGES: Possession
of CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS, and possession of CDS
paraphernalia.
ARRESTED: Patrice
Dowe, a 25-year-old man from Galloway, NJ.
CHARGES: Two counts
of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
ARRESTED: Jeremiah
Wilson, a 25-year-old man from Pleasantville, NJ.
CHARGES: Possession
of a controlled dangerous substance.
ARRESTED: Jordan
Pena, a 26-year-old man from Channelview, TX.
CHARGES: Possession
of a controlled dangerous substance.
