Three Men Shot in Two Separate Incidents
For Immediate Release:
June 9, 2020
On June 9, 2020, investigations are underway in the shooting
of three men in two separate incidents.
At 12:12 am, patrol officers responded to the AtlantiCare
Regional Medical Center, City Division, in reference to a victim that walked
into the Emergency Room suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, a 39-year-old man from Atlantic
City, was being treated for injuries.
At 12:38 am, patrol officers responded to the first block of
south Florida Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert. Responding officers located a shooting victim
in the 2400 block of Pacific Avenue. The
victim, a 40-year-old man from Oklahoma City, OK, was transported to the
medical center with serious injuries. A
second shooting victim, a 24-year-old man from Newark, NJ, walked into the
medical center to be treated for his injury.
All of the shooting victims are expected to survive.
The investigations are being led by the Violent Crimes Unit.
