12-Year-Old Arrested After Crashing Stolen Car
For Immediate Release:

On August 10, 2020, a 12-year-old male was arrested after
fleeing a motor vehicle stop in a stolen car.
At 9:50 am, Officer Aaron Jones was stopped by a concerned citizen
on New Jersey Avenue in reference to a vehicle being driven by a juvenile at a
high rate of speed. Officer Jones
attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop before crashing
into a pole in the 600 block of Connecticut Avenue. Officer Jones arrested the juvenile without
incident. The car had been reported
stolen earlier in the morning.
The male’s mother arrived on scene and he was transported to
the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division as a precaution due to
the crash.
ARRESTED A 12-year-old male from Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Receiving
stolen property, eluding, and multiple motor vehicle summons.
The male was released into the custody of his mother.
