Suspects Charged and Arrested in July Shooting

For Immediate Release:  September 15, 2020

 

Following an investigation conducted by detectives of the Violent Crimes Unit, two men have been charged and arrested in the July shooting of a man.

Through an extensive investigation, Elijah Money and Keith Wiggins were identified by detectives as the suspects responsible for the shooting of a 21-year-old man from Bridgeton.  The shooting occurred on July 12, 2020 at 12:34 am at the Seawall located in the 800 block of New Hampshire Avenue.  Money was arrested in Middle Township, Cape May County and Wiggins was arrested in Bridgeton, Cumberland County.

 

ARRESTED:  Elijah Money, 25, of Bridgeton, NJ.

CHARGES:  Aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and conspiracy.

 

ARRESTED:  Keith Wiggins, 27, of Bridgeton, NJ.

CHARGES:  Aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and conspiracy.

Both men were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
