ACPD Seeking Public's Assistance in Locating Missing Man
For Immediate Release:
October 29, 2020
The Atlantic City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance
in locating a missing Atlantic City man.
On October 27, 2020 at 7:42 am, patrol officers responded to the
Caspian Avenue beach in reference to a concerned citizen locating a man’s personal
belongings. Officers arrived to find the
belongings that included clothing, a cell phone, and driver’s license for Isiah
Ruffin.
Officers went to multiple addresses in Atlantic City attempting
to locate Ruffin. Family members were
contacted and Ruffin was last seen on October 26, but his last contact was via
text at approximately 5:00 am on the 27th.
Ruffin is described a Black man, 29-years-old, 5 foot 4 inches
tall and weighing 120 pounds. He has a
bald spot on the top of his head.
The United States Coast Guard and New Jersey State Police
were alerted to possibility that Ruffin may have entered the ocean.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Atlantic City
Police Department Criminal Investigations Section at 609-347-5766.
