UPDATE- Suspect Arrested in October Shooting

On December 11, 2020, an investigation by detectives of the
Violent Crimes Unit led to the arrest of a suspect wanted in an October
shooting.
Officers Valmir Loga and Kevin Perez arrested the 16-year-old
male in the 1100 block of Ohio Avenue.
The criminal charges stem from a shooting that occurred on October 25,
2020.
At 8:46 pm, a 31-year-old man from Pleasantville, NJ walked
into the medical center with a gunshot wound. The man said that he was
shot and robbed in the 1100 block of Ohio Avenue. At the time of the shooting, the suspect was
on the Home Electronic Detention System and wearing an ankle monitor.
ARRESTED: A
16-year-old juvenile male.
CHARGES: Aggravated
assault (two counts), robbery, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose,
and unlawful possession of a weapon.
The juvenile was remanded to the Harborfields Detention
Facility.
