Two Men Wounded in Separate Shootings

For Immediate Release:  January 24, 2021

 

The Atlantic City Police Department’s Violent Crime Unit is investigating two weekend shootings.

On January 22 at 8:12 pm, patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of Drexel Place for a ShotSpotter alert.  Shortly after, a shooting victim, 31, of Atlantic City, arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division. 

On January 23 at 1:19 pm, a shooting victim, 18, of Atlantic City, arrived at the medical center after patrol officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1500 block of Sewell Avenue.   

Both victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
