On February 20, 2020, Detective John Sharkey of the Criminal Investigations Section received a referral from the Division of Child Protection & Permanency (DCP&P) in reference to a 6-year old female reporting to her teacher that she had been assaulted by her mother, Aminata Toure.

ARRESTED:  Aminata Toure, 41, of Atlantic City.

CHARGES:  Sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child (two counts) and simple assault.
