Two Men Wounded in Separate Shootings

For Immediate Release:  September 28, 2021

 

The Atlantic City Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating recent shooting incidents that wounded two men.

On September 26, 2021 at 9:46 PM, patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of Pacific Avenue in reference to a man shot.  Officers located a victim, 46, of Atlantic City, who had been struck by gunfire. 

On September 27 at 2:21 PM, patrol officers responded to the 800 block of Virginia Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert and report of a man shot.  The victim, 27, of Atlantic City, was found to be suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both men were transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
