On 01/16/22 at 10:02pm Brooklyn Park Officers responded to a report an unknown medical with someone bleeding at a residence in the 6300 block of Boone Ave N. Initially nobody was located on scene, however officers soon learned of an individual at the Hennepin County Medical Center that had arrived with a gunshot wound.

Evidence of a shooting scene was located. Brooklyn Park Police Detectives obtained a warrant and conducted a search of the scene with the assistance of the Hennepin County Crime Scene Investigators. The victim sustained non-life threatening wounds and was released from the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
