On 4/8/22 at 7:10 PM, officers were dispatched to shots heard in an apartment building in the 5800-block of 73rd Ave N.  While officers were responding, additional calls were received indicating that persons had been shot.  Arriving officers located two gunshot victims near a ground floor apartment.  Aid was provided by officers to both victims who were transported to area hospitals by ambulance with significant gun shot wounds.  During the preliminary investigation, officers spoke to witnesses to the shooting.  It was learned that the two victims were known to each other, had engaged in a fight in which a firearm was produced, and both were struck by gunfire from that weapon.  The incident remains under investigation.
