On 5/14/22 at approximately 8:10pm Brooklyn Park Officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the 7400 block of Imperial Drive. Responding officers were alerted to a possible suspect vehicle. That vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was performed. A gun was recovered from the vehicle and the occupants were taken into custody.

Further investigation showed the scene of the shooting to be around the corner in the 7300 block of Brooklyn Blvd. At the scene of the shooting, 50 casings were recovered and damage to vehicles and buildings was documented. No people were found to be struck by gunfire.

The scene was processed by the Hennepin County Crime Scene Unit.
