Please be advised that the Annual Sunset Classic 5 Mile Road Race will take place on Thursday, June 30, 2022.

Roadways will be shut down from  approx. 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM .

The following major roadways will be closed for the event :

Broad St. between Belleville Ave. & Watchung Ave., JFK Drive North / South between Belleville Ave. & Hoover Ave, Essex Ave. between Sunset Ave. and Benson St.

Many other streets will be closed during the Sunset Classic for participant safety.

Attached is a Map showing the route of the Sunset Classic.

Police will be on scene directing traffic.

Expect delays and plan alternate routes.
