Shooting Wounds Two Men

For Immediate Release: August 8, 2022.

On Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:21 PM, patrol units responded to a report of a ShotSpotter alert in the area of the 500 block of New York Avenue. Officers arrived in the area and located evidence of gunfire and a crime scene but did not locate a victim. Shortly after, police communications was notified that two male victims, 25 and 22, both of Atlantic City, had arrived at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment of gunshot wounds. The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
