On 10/29/22 at 3:45 P.M., the Brooklyn Park Police Department received a report of an armed robbery which had just occurred in the 7600 block of Scott Ave.  Officers met with the resident who reported he had been walking along Scott Ave when he was approached by another pedestrian who asked him for money.   The suspect then implied he had a weapon and threatened to shoot the resident if he did not give him money.   The suspect was last seen headed north on Scott Ave from the 7600 block.    Brooklyn Park Police Officers set up a perimeter and checked the area with a canine unit however the suspect was not located.   

The suspect was described as the following:

- a 30-year-old slender black male wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and carrying a black jacket.   Weapon was implied but not seen.

Please contact the Brooklyn Park Police Department if you have doorbell video of this person in the neighborhood around 3:45 P.M.
