For Immediate Release: December 14, 2022

On December 10, 2022 at 11:32 PM, patrol officers responded to the area of the 600 block of North New York Avenue for a report of a shots fired and a ShotSpotter alert notification. Officers arrived and located a 20-year-old male gunshot victim in a vehicle that had been struck by gunfire in the 600 block of north New York Avenue. Evidence of gunfire was also located in the area. The victim was transported by ambulance to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of injuries that are considered non-life threatening.
