Two Teens Wounded in Shooting

For immediate release: January 23, 2023


On January 22, 2023, at 1:38 AM, patrol officers responded to the 600 block of Baltic Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert. Responding officers arrived and located evidence of gunfire but did not locate a victim. Moments later, officers were alerted of two shooting victims at a residence about a block away. Officers subsequently located the two male shooting victims, both 15 of Atlantic City, and immediately rendered medical aid until EMS arrived on scene. The victims were then transported by ambulance to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of injuries that are considered non-life threatening.
